O’Neill School of Irish Dance

About

The O’Neill School of Irish Dance opened its doors in 2019. We started with only a few championship-level dancers who needed a coach and some assistance with creative choreography. Now, only a few short years later, we’ve expanded our school to offer multiple classes featuring many talented dancers.

Our Focus

We’re known for our commitment to supporting our dancers’ competitive goals and enhancing their timing and technique. Dancers come to us for instruction in both competitive team dancing and solo dancing.

Our Founder

Our founder has been dancing since the age of 11. When she started Irish dancing, she immediately became passionate and competitive about this unique and exciting activity. She loved that the adrenaline, creative choreography, and eye-catching dresses worked together to create a unique way to have fun and express herself. Today, she has more than 13 years of dancing experience and eight years of coaching experience. Throughout her dancing career, our founder was even fortunate enough to travel to Ireland, where she built a strong bond with her team and had amazing, unforgettable experiences. Now, she is dedicated to helping young dancers create these same memories that last a lifetime.

Accomplishments

For 6 years she danced for the organization called CRN – Cumann Rince Naisiunta where her highest placement was winning regional and national champs and placed 4th in the world championships as a solo dancer. Her team also won the world championship in a group dance in 2015. Then she danced 3 years in CLRG – An Coimisiun Le Rinci Gaelacha where her best placement was 4th place at the mid-American Oireachtas which qualified her for their world championship in 2018 where she recalled and placed 38th.
